"The hotel, food, staff and interior decor was great, however, we stayed with family and had 2 rooms on the ground floor. Our room was 108 and was fine apart from the tv being sitting too low on a cabinet to watch in bed. The bathroom extractor fan did not work but this did not spoil our stay. Room 109 where my mother stayed had an awful view of what I can only describe as old furniture, chairs bicycles and overgrown vegetation feet away from the window. This was visible due to the 6 foot fence...

"Thank you for a wonderful stay at Rivernene Cottages. Hosts Stephen and Phil were amazing and could not do enough for all the guests. We stayed in the Yew Tree Cottage, as a family of 4 (2 teenagers) this was perfect! The entire place is immaculately kept. "Lovely one night stay as part of a road trip down to Cornwall. The host was lovely and friendly and made us welcome. The room was comfortable and quiet and we slept well. Delicious cooked breakfast in the morning. Ideally I’d have liked a bigger bath sheet that could wrap round me after a shower but for a short stay it was perfectly fine. "
