"Nice area, good hotel and good restaurants"

"The only good thing about this hotel is that it is close to the beach. This "resort" was by far in the worst shape I have ever seen. There were gaps between the front door and door frame, the bathroom was chipped and falling apart, and the entire area was in ruins. Thankfully, we were refunded. "

"A fantastic stay! The accommodations and the staff were excellent. An historic hotel built in 1885 I believe..the room was just the right size for us and there were some modern amenities thrown in such as the dimming lights and the shower setup. Very nice location right off Flagler Ave with the Riverview Grill on one side and the Mermaid Cafe on the other. Parking is very adequate once one figures out getting in and out of the lot.
