"I loved staying at this hotel. I wanted to see animals, be close to the jungle/forrest and feel like I was in nature. I saw monkeys right outside my window and monkeys and iguanas by the pool. I wish the pool were lit up at nighttime. "

"Very cozy facility a unique place, staff is very nice, food excellent but expensive, however breakfast was included, owner help us to book excursions, we felt a very personalized experience. The view to the ocean is espectacular , we saw the sun set every afternoon from the lobby I highly recommend this place."

"What a wonderful property this is. The grounds are beautiful and immaculately kept. The 2 pools are wonderful and the beach just goes on and on. "We loved our stay in Luxury Standard Room 209 at Tulemar. We saw squirrel monkeys daily from our balcony, and toucans, sloths, scarlet macaws, leaf-cutter ants, frogs, bats, and iguanas on the grounds also. The private beach was never crowded, and we appreciated the complimentary umbrellas and chairs, as well as the ability to order food and drinks from Tule Cafe while on the beach.
