"I loved staying at this hotel. I wanted to see animals, be close to the jungle/forrest and feel like I was in nature. I saw monkeys right outside my window and monkeys and iguanas by the pool. I wish the pool were lit up at nighttime. "

"Perfect place for a family in this somewhat young, single tourist beach town. The beach down here is sandy and more toward the north has a lot of rock, so very happy with the location. Casually set up a surf lesson with the company right outside the hotel. The hotel had a lot of beautiful plants throughout the rooms. It was old school, but in the best possible way. This is my ideal kind of hotel."

"We loved our stay here. Very peaceful & quiet. The staff was very helpful & friendly. It's a great place to stay if you like animals. Dogs, cats, & raccoons - all friendly. A beautiful beach for walking & wading. Strong undertow, so avoid swimming. Beautiful sunsets & the beach is pretty much empty most of the time. There were lots of nice extra touches such as pillows on the loungers. It is a rough, dirt road to get to it, but it is well worth it. The food was very good. The pool was lovely. Only cons are the bed pillows, which are huge. The outside cushions are a bit tired. We would very happily stay here again."
