"Nice, friendly owners. Only 7 units and the people who stay here seem to all like staying at unique out of the way places. Esterillos Oeste is an out of the way place but there are many expats living here. Nice breakfast brought to you each morning. No running hot water available but it's usually so warm outside, isn't much of an issue. I would stay here again."

"This was an awesome location and perfect lay out for 6 adults and one teen. Easy access to the beach, stores, sodas, and surf board rentals. Reasonable drive to Mangrove monkey boat, Manuel Antonio Park, Jacó and Resteraunt on the beach in Playa de Bejuca. I highly recommend this rental "

"Our family of five really enjoyed our short stay. Everyone had their own space but connected with the pool and observation area on top. Communication was good and the house had everything we needed. The bedrooms all had great working air conditioning. The main house family room didn’t but there were two fans. We walked to the restaurants nearby: Los Almendros - we ate there twice, El Patio - they had trivia night on the Tuesday night we arrived, a lot of ex-pats and American music which was fun, and then Soda Margarita for breakfast. The driveway to the villa was a bit steep for our large SUV but we made it work. The villa is in a small town but close enough to Jaco and Manuel Antonio for more activities. I liked being away from all the traffic and crowds. If you’d like to learn to surf I’d recommend Bretts Boards. He lives in town and you’ll see his sign down the street from the house but we met him at a beach resort about 10 mins away. That was fun. Overall the house was truly unique (especially the amazing views!) and had everything we needed."
