"It was a comfortable stay. The highlight was the almost private secluded beach. Being exposed to the elements the property is not in the best condition, but the host immediately took care of any problems we had. FYI there are a few dogs, a cat, and a couple of raccoons which belong to the owner, and live on the property and walk around in the dining area. The food was delicious, and cooked from scratch, so give plenty of time for it to be prepared. A bit on the pricier side. The approach road...

"Just did not like the rules about the me nor taking towels to the beach and not be shirtless around dinning area. I understand if it was a restaurant but it was a bar and seating area outdoor next to the pool."

"Stunning location and clean property directly on the beach with nice extras in the pool and gaming area. Property is out of date and is about 20 min down a dirt road with very poor WiFi and nothing else around. If you’re looking for a resort this isn’t it, but if you are looking for a clean place where you’ll have the beautiful beach to yourself, it’s a good choice."

"I stayed at the resort for 5 evenings and can thoroughly recommend it to anyone looking for a very relaxing few days. I particularly enjoyed the friendliness of the staff all the way from the manager to the bar/ restaurant, reception and cleaning staff. Everyone was very friendly and courteous. "Nice, friendly owners. Only 7 units and the people who stay here seem to all like staying at unique out of the way places. Esterillos Oeste is an out of the way place but there are many expats living here. Nice breakfast brought to you each morning. No running hot water available but it's usually so warm outside, isn't much of an issue. I would stay here again."

"Very beautiful, private scenery. Had the beach to ourselves many times. Very spacious rooms and outdoor kitchen. Staff super helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. There were a lot of ants on counters and in shower and it would have been great to have shampoo, conditioner, and soap for the dishes. Dinner options are expensive and not very good. Pool was great. The surroundings are the best part about this property, but it's a bit of a drive. Well worth it."

"Close to beach is about all the good things to say. Large waves not for weak swimmers so my wife would not go in. Toilets backed up repeatedly, reported it before we went out for the day, was told it was fixed and if it continued to happen they would move us to another room but by time we got back after 5pm there was no one at the office to talk too.Room also had mold on the walls in the bathroom and one morning we had no water at all for a while. "The house is great and well equipped. We stayed for a month and all we could need was there. Foldable chairs on the property for the beach as well as pool floaties. The location is up quite a large hill from the beach and has stairs to the pool so not appropriate for someone with a mobility issue. There is a grocery store and restaurants within walking distance.Owner and property manager are great and respond immediately. "

We were impressed with all the built-ins and the sturdiness of the house. The ACs were efficient and each person could set their optimum temperatures in their bedroom. Best Place in Manuel Antonio!

"My 12 year old twins & I stayed for 3 nights and I wish we could have stayed longer!! I actually booked other hotels and as soon as I found this resort, I was sold. This property is amazing! It’s spread out on a hill in the jungle, right in the heart of Manuel Antonio. We saw monkeys jumping around in the tree canopy every evening.The pool area is more beautiful than the pictures show. The restaurant and sports bar in the middle of the property is great food, drinks, live music, games and very family friendly! The delicious breakfast was included and not to be missed. Rooms are really comfortable and spacious."

"One of the best experiences on vacations I have had hands down! We went for my bachelor party and loved the clean property the activities for everyone. The food was amazing and the staff was extremely attentive! We would definitely go back!"

Perfect location and views!

"First of all the location and the views of this was awesome! Out of the hotel and you’re in the national park. The views from your balcony of the ocean sunset or just a spectacular as any sunset restaurant you would go to. The service was great the animals on the property like monkeys on our balcony survived and others were able to see even before going to the park. The pool was refreshing and the breakfast was adequate choices. The only downside is that since these are containers, they noise travels and the walls are paper thin! There is a steep hill to climb, but they also have golf courts to take you up. They are quick to respond to you on WhatsApp. It’s a good solud three + star hotel"
