"Check-in could be made with a QR code, without assistance of the staff. Amenity was available at the lobby. The building was new and the room was clean. A/C works perfectly. There was an air purifier with humidifier which worked quietly. Breakfast was amazing with lots of dishes."

Just within 4 mins walk to the nearby huge Aeon shopping arcade which can satisfied our local delicacy and Japanese made clothings / accessories shopping needs. "Loved the decor & overall vibe of the hotel -- it was quiet and dimly-lit in a way that I found super relaxing. The staff was wonderful and made me feel really welcome. The rice porridge breakfast was delicious. It's a short walk away from Kyoto station, so getting around was a breeze. I liked the fact that it was a few minutes away from the more crowded, tourist-y bits of the city but still conveniently located. Great value overall, I'd book another stay in a heartbeat if I visit Kyoto again."

"Was a quick walk from Kyoto station with places to eat nearby was the best and very convenient! Staff was friendly and helpful no matter what questions I had. They did close the hotel from 2am-5am for safety reasons which made me feel safe. Will definitely come back again!"

"Excellent stay. Much larger rooms than usual for Japan. I would suggest pre-purchasing the buffet breakfast. It had a great variety of Japanese and Western dishes plus there are few other options nearby. A fairly short walk from the Kyoto station but most tourist spots are at least a mile away. Staff qas very nice!"
