"We chose this hotel mainly for the spa and proximity to mount Fuji but I did not expect the views we received in the morning. We were blessed with clear skies and saw Mount Fuji in all of its glory. The room(s) were spacious and the bath tub was nice and comfortable. The property is a tad dated though in the sense that each room is operated with a key and not a keycard "

"We loved our stay at Miyako Hotel. The hotel was central to literally everything, and only across the way from Kyoto Station, which was super convenient. The hotel staff were very professional, polite, and always willing to help. Catching a taxi to and from the hotel was super easy too. Would definitely stay there again and would recommend to anyone going to Kyoto to stay there as well. "
