"The location was not so good for us as there was a nightclub nearby that didn't have soundproofing as we could hear the music and singing until it finished which happened to be between 2am - 3am, especially as they would choose the last song to encourage their clientele to sing along. Even though we kept the window closed we were still kept awake with the sound. We chose the hotel for the convenience of the location in relation to the railway station and the bridge over to the Brewery Wharf...

"See below list of issues: Damaged & dirty furniture in the bedroom. Mattress needed replacing. Bathroom - dated shower, toilet not flushing, extractor dirty and damaged. Emergency signage, non existent. The hotel reception over charged us with no apology, they took our credit card away from reception and ~I demand they haver to return with it. "

"Well appointed hotel with super helpful staff. The bar and lobby area are freezing in the winter because they are effectively open to the external doors. Very disappointed at the intransigent response to my request for a refund as I had to check out a day earlier for family reasons - despite I told them 2 days earlier. Not what I expect from Hilton, especially as a Hilton Honours member for 20 years. The way of the world I guess?"

"Lovely spacious room. But the shower was broken, kept leaking from the wall so the floor was constantly wet.. Staff were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast was nice. "

"Main public areas were decorated really nicely for Christmas, and received a warm welcome at reception. My room was described as cosy and it was on small side but perfectly comfortable for solo traveller. Ate in the restaurant, very tasty meal. "
