Checkin was excellent, very friendly staff. Asked if we wanted to become a member, which we did and in return received a free glass of wine. Were able to check in early too. Room was clean, lovely large bed and a mirror in front of a desk with plugs - why can’t more hotels do this? Didn’t eat at the hotel in the evening but when we came back to get a drink in the bar were told that they didn’t do cocktails after 11pm?!?! Room was quiet during the night and had a great sleep, however, could hear next door’s phone and them coughing in the morning. Breakfast was definitely a mixed experience - we waited a while for a table but were seated by a friendly member of staff. Only one coffee machine, which meant long queues and then it wasn’t the best coffee. My husband had a full English but when I went up there was nothing left, and the food trays were constantly empty, and took a while to get refilled. Overall, rooms and hotel in general great, convenient location, but food and drinks service in need of improvement.

Perfect stay for my partner’s birthday the staff are really friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful and clean got an upgrade to a king bed which was great. Views from our window were amazing. From walking into the reception it was beautifully decorated and spotless. Breakfast was lovely plenty of choices. Definitely would go back highly recommend this hotel.

Had a lovely 3 night stay here. Hotel room was very comfortable with the super king bed and the mini fridge was a bonus. Staff were always on hand to help and were extremely polite and friendly.

Once inside hotel, it was lovely. It smelled wonderful as we entered reception. On the outside, rough and unsightly- scaffolding-We realise this may be necessary but you asked! The reception area was warm and friendly as was the staff greeting. Room was a good size. The noise outside kept one of us awake most of the night- think it may have been a generator or fan unit possibly. Bed and pillows were very comfy. Basic amenities were available plus slippers. Breakfast was tasty and the choice was vast. However, food went cold before I had the chance to finish it- maybe because air con was cool- not sure but the other person was fine.
