"We had a 3 night stay at the Bear hotel. The hotels location is fantastic...Blenheim palace grounds are less than a 5 minute walk and the hotel also has its own car park. Itis also situated in the town square. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. We had a delux room (room 11). Although its front door lead onto the main car park and to be honest is not much to look at from the outside once inside it had a fantastic gallery bedroom that overlooked the lounge. It had a very comfy large bed and a separate shower cubice. Breakfast was very tasty and catered for all food groups. The evening menu had an adequate choice of meal. Service was friendly and polite. I think the hotel is really good value for money and would recommend it to anyone going to visit Blenheim. "

"We had a lovely 3 night stay at the Remont Hotel. Staff were helpful and friendly. We had a clean and comfortable family room with a double bed and a single and an en-suite. We were on the top floor and there are no lifts so something to be mindful of when booking. Not a problem for us though. The overall cleanliness was good. Some parts of the room need a bit of tlc due to wear and tear but nothing that put us off our stay. Breakfast was definitely a highlight. Hot buffet and cold options and plenty to choose from. We really enjoyed our breakfasts. Location was brilliant for us, we spent a couple of days exploring Oxford so we parked at the hotel and caught the bus into the city. It’s just a 15 minute journey and cost £8.50 for a family daily pass. There’s also the park and ride a short 5 minute drive away and that’s only £5 to park and get a return to the city and back. We would highly recommend the Remont, thank you for a lovely stay. "
