"We booked this hotel last minute and were pleasantly surprised! We chose a family room for two, and it was spacious, spotless, and in a quiet area, just what we needed. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming. We had dinner at the hotel, and the food was good, the overall dining experience was enjoyable. Parking was an extra £5, but it was easy to find a spot, so no complaints there. The location was great too—there were grocery stores (including Waitrose and 24hours WHSmith), restaurants, and even a prepaid washing machine all within walking distance. Another great perk, it’s close to historical spots! We took a trip to Bath, which was about a 50-minute drive, making it a great base for exploring. What you see in the website is what you get in the hotel, its great value for money, especially if you have a car. I would recommend! "

"The services closed at 8pm! I think that is a little too early when you are stopping and need food. We ended up getting Uber Eats from a local Chinese which was lovely. The hotel is a little dated but did what it said in the tin.. would stay there again. Lauren, the lady on the desk ant the hotel was absolutely lovely.. very helpful and informative.
