"This was the most hospitable and friendly hotel we have stayed at in our travels. It is in a quieter area of the riverwalk which was nice. Our dogs were welcomed and loved on the whole time we were there. The room is soundproof and a perfect size/layout for a family. The drinks at the bar are delicious and nice to have a comfortable place to relax and rest between outings. The whole staff is by far the friendliest and most helpful of any hotel we have ever encountered. We had a wonderful Christmas vacation there. "

"Great location close enough to be conveniently walkable but far enough away from the busy section of the riverwalk to be quiet. Bed was very comfortable and pillows were perfect. "

"If you are wanting to stay at a piece of history look no further than Menger, you will not be disappointed. Its beauty and architect is something to see. The building next to it is the Alamo and directly across the street is the River Walk. Give it 10 stars if i could. "

"Best hotel we have stayed in! They were very attentive to our needs. We Stayed two night for an anniversary trip and night one they sent a bottle of wine. The other night we came back to iced champagne and chocolate covered strawberries! Hotel was beautiful and right on the River Walk. We will be staying here again!"
