"Had to slam the door shut several times before it closed, the guests staying there looks very shady and we would always smell weed around the area and guests alway just outside the area parking lot stairs late at night. Definitely affordable and convenient just didn’t feel secure. "

"My son was graduating at the military base and this motel was perfect for my needs. The base entrance is only a hundred feet or so from the motel. There's food an stores walking distance from the motel. The room definitely needs a remodel (to be expected at the price), but is was clean and the beds are very comfortable. All the staff I interacted with was very friendly and attentive. "

"Another wonderful stay at the Mokara! The hotel is gorgeous, the staff are wonderful, and the amenities are amazing. I love the views from the rooftop pool and the peace and quiet of the spa whirlpool and sauna. Fantastic room service food, too. The only issue with this visit was getting conflicting info from the spa staff about the different services' features and costs. Other than that, it was a perfect visit. We hope to come back soon!"

"We came for an event at the convention center. Because the the property is right on the river walk and it's very easy to get around. You can walk all the way to the convention center on the river walk. Breakfast was tasty and the staff was very helpful.
