"Living on a canal was interesting and it provided all that we needed. Nice pool. Not the hot tub but the food from the restaurant was good and staff really nice. I’d recommend it. "

"Pines and Palms is a beautiful small resort that has been newly renovated. We stayed in the Queen cottage (#8) that is ADA compliant though we did not need these accommodations. There space is very clean, minimalistic and has everything you need. The kitchenette has a full size refrigerator. They provide coffee pods, dishwasher pods, paper towels and dishwasher soap. "The landscaping outside was absolutely beautiful the pool and tiki bar as well. The area where we had brunch was really gorgeous too, everything felt like a tropical oasis. The check in area and my room were spacious and comfortable, wonderful view from my balcony! The staff was great and accomodating & I did notice that some area were in need of upgrade, or repairs, such a the elevators. Overall definitely will go back to the sands next time I'm in Pompano"

"Very nice stay; would be great for staying a few days. Was nice to have kitchen area but for just our one night we didn’t need it. Several places to eat within walking distance and loved walking around watching fisherman and their catches brought in and cleaned- nursing sharks fun to watch"

"Great place. I enjoyed the beach area and how we could walk to a few good dive bars w live music. Very clean and included a kitchen snd good size shower. Only complaint would be the blinds did not close all the way and parking lot coyld see in at night."
