Train from the good old days.
"Have you ever wondered what it would have been like to sleep on a train back in the good old days? Well, you can do exactly that at the Galveston Train Museum Rail Hotel.My family and I spent the night in the Historic Bonnie Brook Rail Car, a 1949 rail coach once used by Jackie Gleeson. The car has been renovated to serve as a private suite, allowing guests to eat, sleep, and dine like passengers used to do back in the golden era of railroads.Along with modern amenities like Wi-fi internet and a widescreen television, our suite also included complementary bottled water, a basket of muffins prepared by a local bakery, and a bag of saltwater taffy provided by a local confectionary.Best of all, the museum was located in mere walking distance of the downtown area, not only allowing easy access to local shops and eateries, but also to the cruise terminal. My family and I only needed to wake up and walk to our cruise ship.If you always dreamed of sleeping on a train, then this suite is perfect for you and/or your family. "
