"The location is in walking distance to all historic attractions. The views were beautiful of the bay and the lighthouse. However we didnt grt a good night's sleep. There was alot of noice coming out of aircondioner in the closet only during the night. We also heard somone walking around the room on the wood floors. We did feel afraid but would wake us up. We would love to know if anyone else has experienced this. We were in room 103. Beside tjay the place is lovely and highly recommend it."

"As a place to sleep while running around St Augustine and having purchased the Old Town Trolley ticket that would drop us off right at the motel, Villa 1565 worked out very well. The price point was a perfect no frills bullseye. I would consider staying here again."

"This property is just super! The place is not, thankfully, like a big chain hotel. The breakfast was great, it is just off the beaten path, the walk to town across the bridge is easy, and the happy hour at the end of the day was very nice. Our host, Rick, was most helpful with dining suggestions and tourists hints. If you would like a bit of an old fashioned place -- this is for you! I would definitely stay there agin."

"For the price, you can’t beat it here. The room was clean and the staff were friendly! Our room did have a strong smell from the cleaner that bothered me. But I am glad it was clean! Parking was $20 a night- annoying as their is plenty of parking and there shouldn’t be a charge. The shuttle was really convenient! Breakfast was a let down- they advertise a variety of foods, but the only hot foods daily were eggs, limp sausage, and pancakes. I’d return- but I would know not to get my hopes up for...
