This is going to be a lovely hotel... in a few months. For now, it's been bought and is under construction. I booked an overnight stay for four; hoping to enjoy some of the amenities. The restaurant is closed; luckily there are plenty of local options. I thought one friend would enjoy the fitness room. Closed. We can hit the sauna after a long drive. Closed. Let me check the pool... outside. Too cold (yes, it was November). How about the hot tub? Scalding hot... dangerous actually. The front desk clerk said to see the manager in the morning. Of course, he "wasn't in yet" by the time we had to leave. I booked this place specifically based on the website and ability to simply park and relax after a long day. Oh yeah... they also charged me for parking. Had I not anywhere to go, I would have waited for to discuss things with the manager. Do yourself a favor and call them to see what's actually "open" before you book here.

The hotel is beautiful has a lot of potential, is under renovation and that could be inconvenient, the real issue was that the key machine was broken so we didn’t have a room key so an employee from front desk had to open our door every time we came back to our room

Be aware that the property is undergoing extensive renovations to become a Hilton Tapestry. Our first room, the door would not lock and there is a drop off from the entrance area and the room that is a trip hazard. The desk clerk was very nice & accommodating; however, there is a skeleton crew operating the hotel and a lot of unfinished areas in the rooms.

“Under construction” but a lot of stuff needs work and attention, according to front desk. Hidden fee for daily parking upon check-in, $10. Asked night staff for some towels (he understood) and got stack of floor mats. Water wasn’t that hot at all, but they said the showers were brand new.

This lady at the front desk I don’t remember her name but a very sweet (African American woman) is the absolute best. Please keep her and I will always book here. The hotel is wonderful, I will definitely return.

Terrible hotel, would not recommend! We arrived with friends, and it was an absolute disaster from the start. It quickly became clear that this hotel is not worth the money. 1. Cleanliness is a total disappointment. As soon as we entered the room, we could immediately smell stale air. The bed linen was covered in dust, and there were visible stains on the mattress. It was obvious that someone had stayed there before us and not much had been cleaned. The blankets and pillows smelled musty, and even after we requested a change of sheets, it didn’t improve the situation. 2. The bathroom is a nightmare. The bathroom was full of hair — on the floor, in the sink, and in the shower. It looked like no cleaning had been done. The plumbing was old and filthy, the faucet barely worked, and the shower had only lukewarm water. It felt like we were in a rundown hostel, not a hotel. 3. No light in part of the room. There was no light in part of the room. We tried asking the front desk about it, but that only made things worse. The dark corner of the room was completely unusable because it was pitch black. 4. Front desk — rude and unhelpful. When we complained about the lack of cleaning and the issues with the room, the front desk staff responded in an incredibly rude and dismissive manner. They told us that it was “normal” for their hotel and that nothing would be done about it. This is how they treat paying guests. Overall, it was a complete failure

The fact that customers have to pay for parking in the hotel parking that’s not even gated is quite ridiculous. I’ve been staying at hotels every year on vacations for 20 years now and have never heard of hotels charging for parking. Also when checking in, it would be nice to be greeted with an employee that makes you feel welcome and not like you’re in court paying for a citation of some sort. Employees like that will push customers away. This stay was not worth the cost. Room was clean. Shower was better than most. A bath tub would have been nice. Breakfast was not available as advertised.

I liked the lobby. THe atmosphere of the room is "cold". We did not have any transportation we could not go anywhere to get food. An unexpected fasting situation. Really not your fault. Liked the ocean view.

Theres no restaurant, the entry doors are broken, leaving you to use use the side door thats never locked. Our 1st room had sand on floors, no towels & partial hygiene products. Lighting is terrible, no vending other than by pool, pool towels are thin, small & flimsy. The door to bathrooms obstruct the sink area & theres not a single shelf in the showers to put products on. Not even a soap dish. Rhonda, the employee on our 2nd night was very good & helpful tho. She's the best thing the hotel offers.

It is a dead area for cell signals. I couldn't use my hot spot. The hotel did not have internet for almost 3 days. I work remotely so I had to leave my room to work. It is a small and very quiet hotel. It charges a daily parking fee but they are not responsible if anything happens to your car. It is not worth paying full price.

The property restaurant is closed/under renovation, (as is much of the hotel), the hot tub didn't work and they immediately charged you per day for parking at check in. Night staff said they'd get someone in morning to look at hot tub. Spoke to day manager next day and they had no pass down of the issue and said they'd also have someone fix it but it was never fixed over the entire weekend. Has potential to be a nice hotel but is poorly run.

I was overall pleased with the hotel. However, I was disappointed that the breakfast that was supposed to be included is not actually included because the restaurant is closed. Also, there was only decaf coffee in my room. It was too late to swap it out when I realized it close to checkout time. The amount spent for the one night stay should have included the breakfast that was Advertised as included.
