The location is walkable to everything in Santa Monica, yet for an extremely reasonable price. I hesitate to write such a positive review because the Gateway is like a best kept secret!! We will always come back. "

"I had an amazing experience at this hotel! Initially, I was a bit hesitant, but I’m so glad I decided to give Best Western a try. The grounds were beautifully maintained, with neatly trimmed grass and vibrant flowers in full bloom. Everything was clean and well-kept. The staff was incredibly accommodating, making my stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious, and I loved spending my mornings wandering the property, capturing photos of the stunning flowers. It was a truly beautiful stay, and I will definitely return!"

Everyone is very friendly and helpful, the only thing is that the hotel smells like Marijuana, even though the property tries to keep the smell down. The whole area in the San Fernando Valley smells like it. "
