"A unique hotel with bedrooms and outdoor hot tub facing north so you can watch the northern lights from the hotel. At the edge of town with resteraunt and bedroom view over river and smoking hills from the local hot springs. The breakfast was amazing and staff helpful. We dined in the resteraunt a few times during our stay. The food is amazing but a little pricey. Much like all icelandic resteraunts. Some beautiful walks around the area. Would definately stay here again. "

"My dad wanted to be close to the train station and the hotel had an option for a room with two bedrooms. However upon arrival this was not available, this was the only reason I booked this hotel so I was disappointed. They did manage to sleep us but in two separate much small rooms each on the opposite sides of the building. The rooms were ok, very basic and my bath plug did not fit the hole but it was comfortable enough although my father's room was much much smaller. Good transport, and the...

"It’s a really nice hotel with good amenities. The sauna was great and the breakfast was wonderful. The only thing that disappointed me was no furniture like a dresser in the room to clothes in during our stay. That was true at another hotel in Copenhagen so maybe it’s a Nordic thing. "

"They have aurora wake up calls. Walkable to food and shopping. Close to golden circle."

"Property is stunning and the on site thermal pool was great! Also dark enough that we got to see northern lights. Room was beautiful and comfortable. Right in the Golden circle area so very convenient for seeing the major sites in this part of Iceland. Only complaint is that breakfast for roughly $40pp looked very basic for the price- just some pre prepared eggs so we decided to skip it"
