"Overall great vacation and resort. The rooms are a good size and the resort is easy to navigate and doesn't take more than 5 minutes to access any part of the resort. All restaurants/bars are pretty central. Beach was beautiful, sandy bottom for about 50 feet from shore and able to walk along the beach for long distances. "Excellence is a solid 4*. The all inclusive, adults only atmosphere is nice, grounds are beautifully decorated, food was very good, for the most part drink and food service was fast. We arrived at the property in the morning and were able to enjoy the property including breakfast and lunch before our check-in time. Here is where it is lacking - you can tell the rooms are getting worn, we had a dinner reservation that we were 10 minutes late to and it was not honored, but was remedied best...

"The staff at Villa Del Palmar are top notch! The food at all of the restaurants were also fantastic! A perfect place to relax by the beach and pool if you aren’t looking for a party atmosphere. But you can take a 45 minute taxi into Cancun easily for that."
