What I didn’t like: While the hotel is in a fantastic location, some areas felt a bit dated, and the walls were a little thin, so noise from the hallways could be noticeable at times. The pool area, while great, can get a bit crowded during peak hours. Overall, this is a great choice for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay near the beach. "This place was absolutely stunning! Everywhere you went there were amazing views of the ocean, the beautiful grounds the sculptures and fountains and swimming pools. The food was amazing and there were plenty of gift shops and coffee places as well. Our room was by the harbor with a balcony where you could see the sunrise and sunset. "

"There aren't enough good things I can say about this place. Having traveled to Puerto Rico several times before, The Royal Sonesta takes the cake! The staff and kind and accommodating, and the best part was there was no hidden fees or charges when I checked out, like I have experienced many times before at other properties. The complimentary breakfast that was offered for staying in a club room is wonderful. They also provided daily complimentary happy hour drinks and appetizers. The beach and pool are just beautiful. I will definitely be staying there again and will only be staying there!"

"This is a clean and convenient hotel with comfortable beds. The front desk is manned 24 hours a day. It’s a 2 block walk to the beach and the neighborhood feels safe for walking. There were lots of loud noises during the night (maybe doors or windows slamming? It was quite windy), so I wouldn’t recommend room 26 for a quiet night. Maybe ask which rooms are quiet."
