"Great location - 5 minutes walk to Kyoto Station and Kyoto Tower Food Court. Breakfast has a good variety of Japanese and western food. Rooms are bigger than most Japanese hotels. Only negative thing is they only have centralized heating in the winter and we found the rooms too warm. But we kept the windows opened throughout the day to keep our room cool. "

"Overall it was a nice hotel, the staff was excellent. Very helpful when we needed them. They have a restaurant available but we did not get to check it out. If you do laundry though just go to a Laundromat if there is one available. The dryers do not work very well and you will be wasting time/ money trying to get it done. There are restaurants and train station super close by. Just a warning though if you have big suitcases, we had a JR pass and could not use the one ground exit/entrance...

"I had a great stay at APA Hotel Nambakita Shinsaibashi Ekimae. The location is perfect — it's just a short walk to Shinsaibashi, making shopping and dining easy and enjoyable. Whether I wanted to explore the famous Dotonbori area or grab a late-night snack, everything was within walking distance. Another big plus was how convenient it was to get to Kansai International Airport. From Namba Station, it's a smooth and easy train ride straight to the airport, which made my departure stress-free.
