"The dining options were quite limited since most of the restaurants were under construction. It wasn’t a big issue for me since I ate outside the resort most of the time. However, if you prefer to dine within the resort, this is something to keep in mind. Also, if you're planning to explore the Romantic Zone, be aware that it's about a 30-minute Uber ride each way. I had to take an Uber once or twice a day to get to the restaurants and back."

"I was looking for an all inclusive that would hopefully have other families with teens for spring break and Vellas was perfect. It's a pretty place with lots to do and easy access to good food (again - teen appetites). Everyone was very friendly. The beach was great for us - it was higher surf which we loved but probably not easy for smaller kiddos. The staff is incredibly professional, accomodating to the best of their ability and don't get me started on how amazing the restaurant, pool and beach staff is. We do recommend staying on the third floor or higher as the noise in the hallway was quite loud on the second floor. We moved to the third floor the 2nd week and I slept like a baby.
