"The property itself is very well maintained. The tower is the referbished while the 2 side wings are being upgraded. Staff extremely friendly and welcoming. Beach beautiful and clean. Food was delicious but often was like warm. I like it hot! Selection very good. The lobby area was beautiful with a wonderful cool breeze we loved. The adult bar and pool area was a lot of fun!! Their serloin steak burger was fantastic. Events changed daily and was wonderful. Just the older rooms were tired. I'd do it again!!"

"The location of this property was super convenient. You can take a taxi to anywhere within 15 mins. Staff goes above and beyond to help and the experience was great for a first timer in PV. "

"Canto del Sol was a vibrant resort with close proximity to the beach, city, and local culture. The venue and the staff was exceptional with a variety of activities, pools, amenities and food to enjoy! It is a resort friendly for singles, friends, families, weddings and more! 10/10 would recommend and go back again!"

"We’ve been to this resort multiple times over multiple years. The staff is great and has tenure. There’s a couple hiccups along the way but they are always ready willing and able to make it right. It’s great for the kids and we always have a great time. There’s a wedding almost every night but they shut it down at about 10pm. We’ll be back again next year!"

"Stayed here for my birthday with a couple of my friends and we loved it! Everyone who works there is very friendly and helpful, room was clean and well air conditioned, pools, bars, and restaurants were great too. It wasn't the most upscale resort on the beach, but it was affordable, family friendly, had lots of activities and was perfect for us! This was my first time visiting Mexico so I was going in a little blind(and not sure if I was going to get scammed lol), so for anyone else who's not sure, I would definitely recommend Plaza Pelicanos, we loved it!!"

"Wow. We stayed a couple nights here looking for a relaxing place to workout, play tennis, sit/drink by the pool, enjoy some good food - and this checked all the boxes. The people and staff here are so kind and wonderful - impressively most are bilingual and english accommodated. We loved the various dining options across both Secrets & Dreams sides - incuding the cafes that serve yummy snacks and drinks. The pools are plenty, clean, beautiful, great places to chill - and the swim up bar is so fun. Through Expedia we got a free upgrade and we couldn't be more grateful for the ocean view & waking up to the sounds of soft waves crashing. The gym is AMAZING - the tennis court was quite fun (interesting texture, immitated clay we think). Thank you for a wonderful stay, relaxing and refreshing. Beautiful luxurious property - Secrets side is calming and spa-like. We are so grateful to your kind staff for treating us so wonderfully!"
