"We were just here one night but we were quite impressed how they have updated this property . The rooms are modern and clean, and the pool area was a great place to relax. We really appreciated that the hotel provided beach chairs and we were able to walk down to the beach and enjoy the sunset. "

"Stayed 3 nights. Got a wonderful upgrade to a one bedroom suite. Thanks to the evening staff member. Easy 5 minute walk to Windansea Beach. Groc store 15 minute walk and to La Jolla Cove same. Beach 20 minutes. Good area for strolling along the seaside sidewalk. Restaurants a couple blocks walk from Holiday Inn. Breakfast quite good! "

"The property is beautiful. However, that’s pretty much where the good part ends. Except for Rich and Mark. They were THE best parts of our stay at this hotel. If not for them, our stay would have been awful. We were forced to change rooms due to a plumbing issue that had nothing to do with us. They wanted to put us in a room that was far less of value than our original room. Twice. Rich and Mark, and the valet guys, were awesome though. They made our stay as good as it was. "
