Stayed 3 nights. Got a wonderful upgrade to a one bedroom suite. Thanks to the evening staff member. Easy 5 minute walk to Windansea Beach. Groc store 15 minute walk and to La Jolla Cove same. Beach 20 minutes. Good area for strolling along the seaside sidewalk. Restaurants a couple blocks walk from Holiday Inn. Breakfast quite good!

This will be an ok place to stay once the street directly in front of it is no longer being torn up by jackhammers that start at 7a.m.

This location proved to the perfect spot to get to the beach and near by tide pools. A six minute walk is ideal in any condition. It was nice the location was not in a busy market of shop area. It offered an escape. In the mornings before the traffic picked up, we could open the patio door and hear the wave crashing on the beach. The breakfast was one of the best we've had at a Holliday Inn Express in a while. The parking was a a little difficult at times though. We stayed in a two queen room with pull out for the kids. Comfortable slept five of us. The room, bathroom, and linens were clean. Thank you for the nice stay. We'll remember this location.

We stayed here for my Destination Wedding and had a few family members also stay in other rooms here. The downside was the construction that happened across the street (was not the facilities fault) and the lack of services due to staffing. The location is ideal for La Jolla because everything is within walking distance and the beach is 0.2 miles away, in a desirable neighborhood. I wanted to stay an additional night but they were already booked so I could not extend my stay. I recommend staying here.

We only spent one night while visiting UC San Diego. There is plenty of parking space behind the hotel, it felt very safe as well. The room was spacious and well lit. There is everything you need, the shower is clean and hot, it’s quiet. Recommended if you stop in La Jolla.
