"I really love this hotel as it overlooks the water and gives you roll out of bed access to the cove you can open the door and hear the sea lions from your balcony. It’s easy for an Uber to pick you up from and take you down to the shores. This is my go to Spot in La Jolla."

"I dont understand how anyone can grade this hotel as anything other than a 9 or 10. My wife and I loved our oceanfront room view and sounds of the ocean. The room was clean, and despite what others have said in reviews, we didnt find it outdated at all. Shuttle service was a big part of our enjoyment allowing us the ability to explore the area. It was easy to access and drivers very friendly. So much to do in the immediate area or just a couple of miles away. When we return to the west coast, we will stay at LaJolla Shores Hotel!"

"This is a wonderful place to stay. It's close to the beach, shops and restaurants and not far from a grocery store. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a king bed. We've stayed here 3 times and we'll definitely be back. The staff is friendly and accommodating. "

"Beautiful hotel. Wonderful staff. Great location. 5 minute walk to beach, restaurants, and shops. 20 minute drive to Ocean Shores area in San Diego. Parking is onsite and through secure gate. I believe it was $50 a night. We stayed in a King suite on 10th floor. The view was amazing. The only issue we had was on our last day both elevators were broken. We had to make several trips down 10 flights of stairs with all of our luggage. "
