"The stay was super amazing from the get go. The hotel staff being the limelight, from when we entered the hotel till we exited, they were nothing less than fantastic, polite, efficient and courteous. In terms of the property itself, really amazing rooms, you can book your own private onsen, dinner and breakfast are included and they were very adjusting of our dietary restrictions (including vegetarian). We didn't even notice how the day went by and our stay finished. I will highly recommend it...

"It was quite a journey from the station to the ryokan. Well worth it. Elaborate Japanese dinner and breakfast. Outdoor onsen. The new part of the lodge is 80 years old. It has been on this spot for 300 years. Quick bus ride to Lake Ashi next morning. "

When I first walked into this room I was so enthralled that I felt goosebumps over my hands!

I don't recalled having ever felt so in front of a scene and inside a museum. I felt lucky to be alive!!! And lucky to be in Japan again!

The picture here doesn't quite do justice to the holiness & majesty of this famous & revered mountain in Japan!

"The stay went very well. The sights and scenery were elite and remarkable. The food service was well put together and efficient. I appreciated that the hotel works with a luggage delivery service and helped make the stay a little more convenient apart from trying to send the luggage to Narita airport the day before we left and they were unable to. The hotel and the room were beautiful and the view from the room was great"

"Great Ryokan, make sure you plan you travel from the station as limited taxis. Buses are regular but full of Gaijin with massive suit cases who are not always respectful of the locals. The Onsen and view of Fuji San is incredible. Food is very high end Japanese so make sure you understand this. Staff are very nice and helpful and speak English but do try and speak Japanese you are in Japan after all. 10/10 "

"Wonderfully modern and clean home. The best part was the restaurant next door and the private Onsen soaring tub. They provide a number toiletries as a convenience if you didn’t bring any. The mini splits do take time to warm up the home, but once they do it is very comfortable. "
