"Great place for reasonable price; Nice pool, walking distance to the center, clean, airy room with kitchen and breakfast nook, good A/C and ceiling fans. "The place is a little sketchy but worked for a one night stay pinch. I like a firm bed…… this bed was like concrete! Don’t try to use the bathroom for real because you can’t flush the paper. Although if you’re looking for a super cheap getaway, I’d still look elsewhere UNLESS they change their beds. You can always walk to the mall to use those bathrooms so you can actually flush. Room 2 star Team 4 star"

"It was nice having a pool and a refrigerator. The air conditioner didn't cool our room to the degree we set it. A gym on the next street plays loud music in the morning. Although the staff is pleasant and most speak English, sometimes no one is around and the water is often empty. Even so, I still would stay there again as the place is in a good location at the edge of town, the price is good, and the grounds are really beautiful."

"The property is exactly as advertised. It is a bargain for its location, just 3 blocks from 5th Avenue and from the beach in the very nice and modern Colonia Zazhil-Ha. There are some very nice outdoor spaces, a plunge pool, and the room is well appointed comfortable. There’s a Roku TV, a coffeemaker, refrigerator, hot plate, breakfast bar, AC, even a book shelf with books. when you’re in Playa, you probably won’t spend much time in your room, but it’s nice to have a comfy, affordable option...

"It was in a great location. We stayed inside a jungle in a cabin like room. However they need to improve the services and amenities inside the room. It has lack of lighting, one fan at the corner is not sufficient, no paper towel, bin inside the room. There was no shampoo or conditioner other than the body wash. The bed was stinky, not enough hangers. Overall the amenities need to be improved a lot based on the rent they are charging."

"We chose this mainly for location and great value. All inclusive part was nice to have even though we go a lot into the city to enjoy great local restaurants. We had plenty of parking for our rental and the restaurants in the resort had pretty good food whenever we were too tired from snorkeling all day and decided to eat at the resort. Nice coffee shop onsite as well."

"Drinks were delicious. The food was good. It was great to have a dive shop connected to the property."

"Don't expect to get what the picture looks like when you book. Everything is dated. Good for one night. "

"Took until 6pm to check us in no idea why. The room was good but with some major issues that were never fixed. The toilet from upstairs was leaking and the water was dripping onto the towels. The ceiling above the toilet was fairly wet. No idea why the Hotel didn’t think this was a major issue especially conduits a sanitary issue. The buffet restaurant fir dinner is a complete joke. BB Q night was beef burgers. We don’t eat beef. Breakfast was passable. The Italian and Mexican Restaurants were...

"The property itself was awesome, very clean and safe. The concierge and staff were very responsive and very helpful. We booked too late for the chef service though, so I'd inquire about that before you book, as we had to hire a driver for meals and there is nothing close, as you are remote at this location, even just to get to the beach you have to drive. But overall a great experience!"

"We stayed here for eight nights and we loved the view of the beach and the staff was very helpful and friendly!One of the days were spent indoors during a small tropical depression, which was a first time experience for us watching how rough the sea can get! Would definitely stay here again!"

"Dining was exceptional especially for an all-inclusive. Restaurants were 5 star experiences. I was surprised at how good they were! Especially the Italian restaurant with its 7 courses. The buffet had many options and the fresh fruit and natural drinks in the morning were my favorite. Quiet hotel, bar closes at 11 and music is off by 9:30ish. The staff was excellent, professional and worked with pride. The hostesses at the buffet, steakhouse and Italian spot (a red head, Alejandro & Mayra Vasquez) were always going above and beyond. They would always greet you with a smile, had a sense of urgency and enthusiasm while remembering your name and room number. Luis at check in was very helpful and helped me with an upgrade to an ocean view. Highly recommend paying extra for the ocean view. If you love the beach however, this hotel is not for you. The beach available is tiny and you could only put your feet in the water. As it is filled with large rocks and coral. The water is crystal clear. A 5 minute walk down to the Hyatt gives you a beautiful beach. You can walk through the beach to it. Beaches are public, so you will be amongst locals. Pool was dirty and closed at sunset. Nighttime entertainment 8-8:45pm was top-notch. Hyatt review: The Hyatt is huge, modern and beautiful vegetation, but the food options are limited and it’s very very quiet. It is used more for large gatherings in the ballroom. "
