"Hidden gem! It’s like a small community offering like 35 specious one bed apartments with an outdoor tub in each unit and an infinity pool and grills on the rooftop. Very calm and chill, perfect for long stay as well; you park outside of the property on the street if you don’t mind."

"Check in was smooth, room and outdoor patio was clean, ample space for a studio size. Plunge pool was able to be lit at night by switch but was not able to have filter or pump engaged. On site bar/food poolside was decent. Overall nice place to stay if you are looking to do activities during the day and have a peaceful night's rest since daytime is consumed by ongoing construction not on site but the surrounding neighborhood as the area is being developed. "

"It’s a beautiful place, girls will love the aesthetic of this place. We walked to majority of the time but we enjoy to walk. Only thing I didn’t like was that I wasn’t able to lock the living room door from the inside so I had to make sure all my belongings were in the bedroom so I can lock the bedroom door. I would stay here again though."

"We stayed at Corto Maltes for a week, starting 7/8/13, room 204. The place has "good bones" but needs some upkeep to be really top-notch. A new coat of paint would be a start. This is a condo that is rented out by the owners and managed by the staff at El Faro - those folks were pleasant but did not solve some of the issues that needed attention. The electronic equipment wasn't functioning (tv in the master bedroom didn't work, tv in the living room was semi- functional, stereo was balky) but El...
