"I loved the gentle Old Hawaii atmosphere. My room in the tower had a lovely view of the ocean and was tastefully and comfortably decorated. The staff are outstanding in every way. It was my first time at The Kaiulani. I've stayed at The Sheraton Waikiki and several other hotels, but in the future will choose The Kaiulani. "

"Our 1 night stay at this hotel was great !! Every employee we had any contact with was incredibly helpful, friendly and kind. The employees here are a huge asset to this business. The hotel has had a fairly recent refurbishment and is very beautiful ! The only negative for us was a lack of soundproofing between rooms, particularly doors closing & people talking in rooms on either side of ours. "The property is great the only thing was it’s too far from the beach where you need to walk over 15 min to get there "

"Overall the property was great. The only thing that needs improvement is the check in process, especially with travellers flying in late in the evening. If it wasn't for one of the friendly tenants calling the security guard for me, we probably wouldn't be able to get into our suite. There's no front desk reception. So My suggestion to management is to email travellers of check in instructions and what to expect at least 3 days prior to check in. But other than that, our stay was great!"

"Would prefer "Resort Fees" to be included in the cost, up front."
