"This hotel is located near the canal. It is surprisingly clean and nice. Hotel is older, as you could tell in the photos. Valet parking is $40 (Nov 2024) There is a nice glass kettle, tea bags, proper (stainless steel) cutlery and ceramic plates, which are all a very nice touch. Coffee is served all day, there's a Laundromat on the ground floor. We also left our 3 boogie boards there because they let their guests take out boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrellas for free. "Balcony was disgusting and faced the parkade and looks like it was never cleaned but the rest of the hotel was very clean. The front desk staff was less than sub par and one guy gave a lot of attitude when questioning the billing that he made confusing and unnecessary. "

"The property is conveniently located to all of the dining in the shopping at Waikiki Beach. The room was spacious and Well appointed. The bedding and pillows were really comfortable. I only call was not being white on the beach as it made. It appear in the pictures. There are two buildings between the hotel and the ocean, so your view is limited. Also, you need to walk about 100 yards down a path to get to the beach."

"I just returned home from a 5-night stay at the Hilton Vacation Club, The Modern Honolulu and it was amazing! The property is clean, modern, and quiet, and the staff are very helpful. I loved that there are free daily activities, like lei making and hula classes! The hotel is about a 25-minute walk from Waikiki Beach, and a 10-minute walk from the Ala Moana Center, so it's in a good location overall. I would definitely stay here again!"
