"The Metropole exceeds all expectations! We loved our stay! Our room was comfortable and beautiful. We enjoyed meals at Angelina and the Bamboo bar. Breakfast was excellent. The bunker historical tour was so good; and our guide explained the storied history and the significance of the Metropole, bringing it to life for us. Lastly, the staff is exceptional and friendly. Literally, every single employee we encountered was fantastic. "

"It’s a cute little hotel down an alley way 2 minute walk off the Main Street where all the restaurants and cafes are. At night time it is quiet and away from the noise. A car cannot get to the entrance so you will have to carry your luggage through a dirty uneven pathed road but it’s very short. Rooms were clean, bathroom could have used a deep clean. Breakfast was decent and had a different options."

"On arrival the staffeta was very helpful and got us into a room since we arrived before check in. The best part of this hotel is the staff the building is run down and the rooms need a major reno there is turf in the hallways on every floor. The wash rooms look and operate like their from the stone age. Staff areally great building terrible."

"Staff was friendly. Location was good. Our first night the tv remote did not work and there was gum on the hallway carpet. The free breakfast was average. I had diarrhea after the breakfast. The free bottled water offered I suspected was reused tap water. The value was overall decent."
