"Location next to Hao Lo Prison and it's walking distance to many things like train street, Hoan Kiem Lake, Ho Chi Minh Mosoleum, Imperial Citadel, temple of literature etc. if you don't mind up to 15minute walk. You can hear some stret traffic. Was particularly bad when Vietnam won the ASEAN world cup against Thailand... Obviously good if you wanted to party in the streets with the locals. "

We travelled as a family of four and the interconnecting rooms were perfect if your travelling with younger children as you have a private corridor linking the two rooms. Great location and staff always willing to help, very accommodating with a late checkout as well, highly recommended!"

"We had a wonderful stay! The hotel’s location in the heart of the old town is unbeatable – it’s just a short walk to many major attractions, making it super convenient for exploring. The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help, which made our experience even more enjoyable. One highlight was the coffee from the café at the front of the hotel – hands down some of the best we had during our trip to Vietnam! We also tried the massage service, which was professional and very relaxing. While it was pricier compared to other places, the quality and overall experience made it worth it. Accommodation-wise, the family room was large, comfortable, and perfect for our needs. However, the deluxe room felt a bit small in comparison, so keep that in mind when booking. Overall, it was a great stay, and we would definitely recommend this place, especially for its location and service. We also organised our airport pick up through the hotel which was very smooth too, with quick responses to ease our mind while we were in transit."

"The people at Splendid is what makes it a special place. Customer service was five star and could be compared to some of the top end hotels of the world. In fact, better than most five stars hotels that I have stayed in like the JW Marriott and Taj. Fantastic location in the old quarter. The rooms are nice and roomy but the bathroom was not as nice one would get in a four star hotel. Overall package and the price point makes it a very compelling choice "
