"Very kind check in guy, room upgrade appreciated. SO MUCH SCENT/PERFUME at check in desk and in my room, absolutely brutal for those of us with scent-sensitivities. No need at all for the scented clothes sitting on top of the lights in my room. Clean is better than poisonous scent overload. Otherwise, very nice, thank you"

"It was good. Budget friendly and a last minute booking for us so we weren't being picky. The room looked like it had been damaged and repaired a few times. A bunch of things (towel rods in the bathroom, kitchen cabinets, etc) were fixed with black drywall screws that seemed in stark contrast to the otherwise comfortable style of the rooms. The fixes were function over fashion. Nothing felt unsafe, but if you were expecting perfect paint matches and the windows not to have cobwebs you'd be...

"Very nice experience. We arrived very early and while our king room wasn’t ready we were offered early check in for a queen double. I chose to stay with the king room and the front desk staff offered to call me when it was available. I received their call well in advance of the standard check in time. Due to our schedule we didn’t get back to the hotel until about 10 pm but no issue - our room was waiting for us. Room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. Nice restaurant right in the hotel for breakfast. Would definitely recommend and stay again if we travel to Philadelphia. Also of note the hotel was very close to the Independence Visitor Center and Liberty Bell. We also walked less than a mile to be at the a Pennsylvania Convention Center and Reading Terminal Market. "
