"This is a 1950s motel that has been lovingly renovated. They have taken great care to preserve the vintage aspects. Our had old style wood paneling and the bathroom was original, with pink tiles and the old shower that still works very well! Although it is a budget motel, it was very clean and the bed was as comfortable as a Marriott hotel. The units have little outside patios facing a pond, the trees decorated with colored lights, and there is a charming little open air cocktail bar. We loved...

"We stayed in the Texas cabin with both sections available to us. The cabin was exceptionally clean and absolutely adorable. It was well stocked with dinnerware. The beds were very comfortable and the towels were the biggest I've ever seen. The grounds are beautiful, with a cute walk around the lake and beautiful opportunities for sunrise photos in front of the main lodge. "
