"Worked really nice for our post skiing day at Elk Mountain. Cozy, clean and comfortable! Didn't have time to explore the immediate area but looks like there's some great hiking and fishing nearby. Nice history provided by owner about the property. Definitely recommend for any type of getaway. "

"We stayed here on October for a wedding and fell in love with the house and the location. It was the perfect place to spend the week of Christmas with family. The house was beautifully decorated for the holiday! There had been a snowfall on Christmas Eve, so the ground was snow covered and beautiful with the Christmas tree lit in front room. "My wife and I brought our kids to Duncansville for the week to visit family for the first time since our son was born. It was amazing having a space of our own with room for both of our kids. This house is immaculate; it’s very clean and everything is thoughtfully organized for your stay. "We booked this to be close to the rural venue of a family wedding. There were 8 of us, including the groom, and we all absolutely loved this house. It feels bigger on the inside than in looks from the outside, the rooms are so spacious and airy, lots of windows and sunlight. Modern in the ways it needs to be but retaining its idyllic, old farmhouse identity. The kitchen is incredible, and served us well in preparing a bunch of wedding food. "The house was beautiful and had plenty of room for my family of 6 and my dog. The yard was great and my youngest loved the trampoline. The house was close to shopping and the Pocono Fair, but far enough away that you felt relaxed and secluded. The host was great, very informative and responsive. We will definitely book here again in the future."
