The location of the hotel is superb, walking distance to Christmas Village, Rittenhouse Square and shopping. The staff services was very disappointing. We had booked a suite for 2 adults and 2 children, with a sofa bed. After we checked in, we requested for the sofa bed to be set up. Housekeeping came only 30 min later, with the instruction to change all our linens. Then we woke up to a continuous thumping sound at 6 am, we believed it came from someone in the level 4 gym. We are on level 5. We made a call to to the front desk and was told an engineer was going to come to hear the noise. After waiting for more than half an hour, a technician came under the instruction that our air con was down and wanted to fixed the air con. Our problem was totally not solved, luckily no one used the gym the following morning. Though the service that we had encountered was pale, we were very impressed with the valet, Ed. We had realised that we had an engine issue with our car when we pulled up, Ed was with us all the way, helped to trouble shoot, made the call to the rental company, and advised us on the steps. We are very thankful to have met Ed during our trouble.

Upon checking into this property I was initially issued two room keys which I was advised would unlock my room. The keys I was provided had actually unlocked rooms to two separate occupied rooms by other guests with room numbers written on them. I had returned to the front desk to express my concern and was issued new room cards to unlock the door. I had to apologize to TWO separate guests as this property gave me access to these individuals room which I have never experienced in my life at any resort or hotel. I was flabbergasted that the only concern they inquired regarding this experience was if I would like water bottles while they addressed the issue… I can only imagine the experience for the guests who had their doors unlocked by an unknowingly guest. These foolish mistakes could have easily escalated to a violent interaction either physically and or verbally between guests although I displayed what the hotel had issued me and thankfully they were somewhat understanding. Highly recommended checking out a different property with professionalism and guest safety in mind.

The bartender was extremely slow. He asked me for the same drink order 5x. There is no bathroom on lobby. You must go up a floor to floor 2. There is also no bathroom in or near gym. The checkin took a while.

Location is the highlight. Rooms are adequate but the furnishings are tired. Bathroom fixtures are loose and starting to show signs of corrosion. Some items in the room were upgraded but why not do the whole room?
