"Quirky, characterful and a joy to visit. Staff were delightful, room was perfect and food was excellent, except, the portions were beyond ridiculously enormous! We would certainly stay again if we ever get back to San Diego."

"I loved how historical they kept the property. The old charms are still there and it was worth simply exploring the hotel to find things. I adored my stay, my view. The security of the building is also very nice, requiring a keycard to enter the hotel (otherwise Valet will let you in) and to use the elevators. There is no pool, which was not important to me but something to keep in mind. Bottom line this hotel is beautiful and was an amazing find for someone like me who loves historical places....

"Great location, a block from Petco stadium. Traffic in the area was not as busy as other surrounding hotels. Our room had a great view of Petco park. Room could use some maintenance and new/fresh towels. "
