The Sofia Hotel was quiet, clean and located in a convenient area- there were coffee shops and dining close by. It was perfect for my 2 day stay.

I love Sofia, it is located in a fantastic area, they are gradually renovating this hotel, soon it will be quite expensive. Best buck for the area.

We had a great time in downtown San Diego. I booked the incorrect dates and the hotel was very gracious about changing my nonrefundable room to the right dates. Our room was small but clean and pleasant. Would definitely stay here again.

Conveniently located The Sofia Hotel was a great choice to stay while visiting San Diego. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. Parking is available behind the hotel building, We paid 40.00 USD per day. No need to pay extra for vallet parking as the parking lot is a few steps away from main entrance. If you don't want to drive around, there is easy access to public transportation Public transportation and many dining options within walking distance. I will definitely stay here again.

The property is super convenient to all the downtown activities and lots of restaurants. Give it five stars. I think it's ridiculous that they charge an amenities fee each day even if you don't use the amenities. That should be an option. One star.
