"Wow. The Royce is on the level of some of the best hotels I have stayed in. Think the Surrey and the Mark in New York, but at a fraction of the price. The room was gorgeous Art Deco modern. Spacious bathroom. Nice sheets and bed. Lovely balcony looking out through the trees onto green grounds. The restaurant was excellent; good dishes and excellent service. The bar was our favorite. It is also gorgeous and has plenty of room to spread out and relax. "

"Pros: location can’t be beat. Tons of bars, restaurants and cafes, free trams in the CBD, near all the points of interest. Comfy beds and nice pillows, 307 faced the back alley and was quiet. Free coffee and happy hour wine, plus the free candy bins was a cute touch. Free laundry? Yes please! Cons: strange layout - apparently the architect has never actually stayed in a hotel. World’s tiniest bathroom, Huge living room, yet nowhere for guest #2 to put their stuff. Spotty wifi. All in all,...
