"1500 checkin but we were not given a room til after 1535. Hotel a "little tired". Dust on coffee table and desk tops. Bathroom clean but a little dingy. Great location if attenfing a show at Princess theatre. No free to air television channels Not a 5 star as it is supposed to be rated. We were given a room upgrade as the room was still not ready by the time they gave us the room."

"This is an amazing old building with huge high grand ceilings and enormous hallways. Very impressive and historical architecture. Fabulous location. Not suitable for people who cannot walk far or do stairs well - otherwise a great choice for Melbourne!"
