"Booked last minute for an impromptu birthday treat. Hotel were very accommodating, ensuring we got served food even though we arrived after last orders had been taken. Food arrived promptly and was delicious. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices in both the contintal and cooked options. The only downside was having to walk past toilets, which were really smelly, to get to and from our room. Smell had gone by morning after the cleaners arrived so didnt overly spoil an otherwise...

"Our stay was fabulous. The food is 12/10 We had our dog with us so we had to eat in the bar but it has a roaring fire and a lovely atmosphere and I’d argue this was the best seat in the house. Our room was in a little outbuilding and it was just perfect. Super quiet of a night too. The servers are all very young and the best and most smiley service I’ve had in a long time "

"Very slow check in, card machine not working so had to write my card details down on a piece of paper (not sure this is compliant with GDPR). No iron available. Paid £15 for breakfast thinking it was a cooked breakfast but was only continental consisting of a box of cereal, a piece of ham, 2 pieces of cheese, rock hard crusty roll and a jar of strawberries. Drove 5 minutes down the road and got 2 full English breakfasts for £16. There was no shower gel and only half a toilet roll left for us....

"We love Llandudno. 1st stay at the Grand wont be the last. Great view from the room, great size room. Could have been cleaner, wouldnt take much. Good clean bedding. Value for money. The outstanding points are your waitress Jo at dinner and breakfast who went above and beyond to make our stay great, and one of the chefs at breakfast (unfortunately i didnt get his name). They're the ones that make the difference. "
