"Wyndham has purchased this hotel, but done absolutely NOTHING to improve the quality of the hotel. It is more run down than it ever was before when it was just the Chicago South Loop Hotel (not the Wyndham Chicago Mccormick Hotel). The people who work at the hotel are wonderful. They are professional, kind, helpful, and caring. The general infrastructure is just old and things need to be replaced or updated like carpeting, paint on walls, and fitness center equipment. "Overall a great stay. They offer a free breakfast which was phenomenal. Beds were comfy. And the room was spacious. The only thing i can say that they could do better is install more garbage cans. Stayed last night and couldnt find 1 can on the 8th floor. But overall a great experience!!"

"Good value. Wasn't fancy, luxurious, or recently updated, but it also wasn't expensive. It appeared to be a decent neighborhood, slightly off the most beaten path, yet easy to get to. We were very happy with our stay and the value of it. We'd be happy to stay there again. "
