"The hotel and room were nice overall with a friendly check in and customer service. I’m leaving a 4-star review because, on arrival, I was told that they were not taking food bookings because the kitchen was maxed out due to the Christmas parties that the hotel was hosting. I was told my best bet would be to order takeaway or go into town. For me that’s not acceptable; service should be consistent for paying guests over events being hosted. "

"Lovely staff - the entire time! They gave us an upgrade to such a lovely room and when our bath plug wasn't working, they kindly let me have a bath in a different room so I could get ready for an event. An extremely pleasant group of people! 10/10! Oh, and the gluten-free eggs benedict was spot-on ♥️"
