"Staff: World class service. From entering the reception to leaving out the door, everyone was incredibly polite and helpful. Impressive effort and attention to detail to make sure my stay was as enjoyable as possible. Room: Very well decorated, great bathroom, powerful shower and nice soap. The bed was huge and also very comfortable. I was also impressed at the homemade shortbread and lovely coffee from the Nespresso machine. However the only negative is that there was no desk (only a chair and seating on the window sill) - but this may have been due to the lack of space in the room. Food: On the first night I had the pie of the day (chicken, ham hock and leek) in the restaurant which was absolutely incredible - However next time I would order extra gravy and a side of broccoli. I also had the homemade scotch egg which again was lovely. Night two I ordered room service for the prawn cocktail, which was good, and the burger being incredible - Although I had just been on a long run and was famished! Reception/Inn: Unfortunately they were re-decorating part of the bar area so was limited on space, but the restaurant was at normal operation. The parts that were open were all nicely decorated and felt homely - although the couch seat, as comfortable as it was, felt a little too low for eating. Overall a wonderful stay and I will certainly be returning when I am in the area next."

"We (my partner, and my Mum) had a lovely stay here to celebrate my Mum's birthday and really appreciated the treats left for us! Check in was super easy with the lock box. The cottage is great for 2 guests as both bedrooms have an en suite (although the upstairs/loft bedroom doesn't have a door FYI). Plenty of seating in the living area too with the sofa, armchair, and even an electric armchair which came in handy for my Mum! There was plenty of firewood left for us for a 2 night stay and we had the log burner on both nights - some instructions for this might have been useful though. The cottage is only a 5 minute walk into Northleach centre where there's a small shop, butchers and a pub."

"Escaped the crazy, and embraced peace. The Barn is a perfect place to unwind. Clean, spacious, with a well equipped kitchen and comfy beds. Located in a quiet cul de sac in a small hamlet miles from the noise; and yet within a short drive to good pubs and country shops. This is an our second Christmas at The Barn. It’s a gem."

"The cottage lived up to our expectations, warm and snug, with an open fire and central heating and oodles of hot water for showering etc. Fully equipped modern kitchen and comfy beds. 5mins drive to centre with nice pubs, pharmacy, general store etc etc. The hosts Susie and Jim were welcoming and informative. "Our family had a wonderful time at this quaint cottage. The village of Northleach was a great location for us to enjoy the Cotswold area for a few days. The village has a yummy pastry shop where we got breakfast every morning, a small convenience store, and a couple pubs/restaurants all about a 2 minute walk from the house. It was fun to walk around the village and explore the streets and neighborhoods. We enjoyed traveling to local sites also. We had a car and easily found parking on the street. The owners were quick to respond, kind, and helpful. Truly, it was a delightful stay and a great first stop on our first trip to England. Thank you so much! "
