"My room was in an annex accessed across the car park, the route was somewhat circuitous along a gravel path to the rear of the building to the entrance, there were other rooms in this annex. My room was on the ground floor, the building felt warm, and I was very impressed with the standard of furnishings, especially high quality blinds and door curtain, coffee and tea, and kettle provided, also TV which was challenging to use! The bathroom had an excellent variety of bath and handwash products, also kleenex tissues. Towels were luxurious. I felt very happy with the accommodation, there was access in better weather to an outside table and chairs. The only problem was that once the blinds were open, you would be in view of others using the footpath. There was a grassy area with plenty of tables and chairs. The inn had a wonderful atmosphere, very casual, log fire, very characterful. Very welcoming staff, especially the waitress/housekeeper, very friendly. A cooked breakfast was on offer. In summary for me travelling alone, the Colesbourne Inn had just the right blend. I assume there was accommodation in the main building also, I stayed just one night, and really enjoyed my time there and would definitely consider staying again, maybe next year as I visit the snowdrops in various locations. Good location for Cirencester and Cheltenham and plentiful snowdrops to see in the area, just go on line for details "

"Staff: World class service. From entering the reception to leaving out the door, everyone was incredibly polite and helpful. Impressive effort and attention to detail to make sure my stay was as enjoyable as possible. Room: Very well decorated, great bathroom, powerful shower and nice soap. The bed was huge and also very comfortable. I was also impressed at the homemade shortbread and lovely coffee from the Nespresso machine. However the only negative is that there was no desk (only a chair and seating on the window sill) - but this may have been due to the lack of space in the room. Food: On the first night I had the pie of the day (chicken, ham hock and leek) in the restaurant which was absolutely incredible - However next time I would order extra gravy and a side of broccoli. I also had the homemade scotch egg which again was lovely. Night two I ordered room service for the prawn cocktail, which was good, and the burger being incredible - Although I had just been on a long run and was famished! Reception/Inn: Unfortunately they were re-decorating part of the bar area so was limited on space, but the restaurant was at normal operation. The parts that were open were all nicely decorated and felt homely - although the couch seat, as comfortable as it was, felt a little too low for eating. Overall a wonderful stay and I will certainly be returning when I am in the area next."

"We (my partner, and my Mum) had a lovely stay here to celebrate my Mum's birthday and really appreciated the treats left for us! Check in was super easy with the lock box. The cottage is great for 2 guests as both bedrooms have an en suite (although the upstairs/loft bedroom doesn't have a door FYI). Plenty of seating in the living area too with the sofa, armchair, and even an electric armchair which came in handy for my Mum! There was plenty of firewood left for us for a 2 night stay and we had the log burner on both nights - some instructions for this might have been useful though. The cottage is only a 5 minute walk into Northleach centre where there's a small shop, butchers and a pub."

"We had a lovely one night stay at The Stump while visiting our son who lives in Cirencester. It’s very well located and just what we were hoping for. Our room was warm and comfortable and well furnished, the service was friendly. Breakfast was nice and we had an evening meal the night before which was delicious. "

"The cottage lived up to our expectations, warm and snug, with an open fire and central heating and oodles of hot water for showering etc. Fully equipped modern kitchen and comfy beds. 5mins drive to centre with nice pubs, pharmacy, general store etc etc. The hosts Susie and Jim were welcoming and informative.
