"Check-in was simple, we were emailed a door code so completely contactless. We were expecting a double bed room, but got two single beds so we just pushed them together. Amenities are pretty basic but the location is good for visiting Cheltenham and the cost is good value so was about as expected."

"The Sheep is outstanding and Stow-in-the-Wold is a treasure. Staff are friendly and helpful, going above and beyond in providing information for your Cotswolds visit. The entire place - rooms and restaurant - have just been completely refurbished as of 2025. It's simply gorgeous with modern comforts while maintaining the character of its 17th century origin. The restaurant is excellent. Be sure to make dinner reservations as it is very popular with local folks as well as visitors."
