The hotel is lovely, our room on the third floor was very clean, comfotable, spacious and well maintained, we had a seagul visitor at the window, lovely views of the sea and pier. We had breakfast the next morning, im gluten free and they were very helpful with what i could eat, most things except sausages. Staff were all friendly and helpful. I had a swim before we left, the pool was clean and very nice. Id definately come again and try the spa treatments. "

"I could not fault the service that was provided by the hotel. Unfortunately, though, I found the area around Brighton Station to be an intimidating environment, frequented by drug users and drop-outs. I would, however, use the hotel again if ever I have reason to visit Brighton in the future."

"The Old Ship is an amazing history hotel. It's olde worlde and full of quirky charme. It's central and seafront based so that's always a plus . I slept peacefully and loved my retro room. Yes, it's worn looking but for the price, it's great. I'd return to this hotel as it's warm and safe. "
